The Cotes du Rhone villages appellation designates certain areas in the region where the soil and the climate produce wine that is considered to be of exceptional quality.

  • Soil

    Red terraces of rounded stones, loessal and sandy skeletal soils.

  • Grape varieties

    Grenache noir and Mourvèdre. 

  • Winemaking

    Grape varieties are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified separately.  After 24 hours of maceration, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermoregulated tanks during 15 days with regular pumpin-over. The wine is aged in stainless tanks for 12 months before bottling.

  • Tasting

    Color : an intensive ruby color.

    Nose : complex nose with black fruits and spicy notes.

    Taste : is rich in mouth with a nicely finish.
